Leaders meet at Town Hall to discuss Gita Ban in Russia

Dear Devotees,
Please accept our humble obeisances, All glories to Srila prabhupad, All glories to sri guru and gauranga ,

In view of the attempts in Russia to get the Bhagavad Gita published by BBT, ISKCON banned, ISKCON Bangalore (GBC) is organizing an Interfaith gathering along with the presence of some leading intellectuals and leaders to urge the Government of India to continue its efforts to persuade Russia in this matter.

The meet is being organized at the Town Hall at 10 am, Today, 21/12/2011. Leaders participating in the program are

1.       Sri K S Eshwarappa, Karnataka  State BJP President

2.       Sri Mumtaz Ali Khan, Former Minister

3.       Dr Chidananda Murthy, noted writer and intellectual

4.       Sri Guru Sharan Singh, President, Guru Singh Sabha

 
Efforts are on to enlist the participation of several other leaders at the event. Leaders of other political parties are also coming to participate in the event. Seers of a few mutts are also expected to participate in the program.
Devotees from all  temples are requested to support in large numbers. There would be kirtan and Gita chanting also. Ekadashi prasadam is arranged for all at the venue.
