This is ISKCON TRUTH reply to the reply of iskcon Bangalore devotee association about Struggle for truth.

1. “Services need to be protected! Protected from what or who?”

See the Service is to be protected from the demons like varada Krishna dasa, Dayaram dasa and anukula keshava. If you think no then that’s your mistake.

2. Jasomatinandana Prabhu and Mahaman Prabhu is said to be prominent Rtviks but Jasomatinandan dasa is “ISKCON's Zonal Secretary for Gujarat” and Mahaman Prabhu (ACBSP) is the “Regional Governing Body member, India”, So therefore both are under the control of some guru.  ISKCON's Zonal acharya system is one of the worst systems and Jasomatinandan dasa is the secretary of it, so what to expect?

3. “Why don't they need the courts to protect their service but Madhu Pandit dasa does? What is the difference between them and Madhu Pandit dasa?”

Madhu Pandit dasa needs protection because he wants history not to be repeated. I think Dayaram das knows about it very well. I’m talking about Kolkata scenes that are Mumbai attacking the branch president and acquiring the property of land in Kolkata. The difference between them and Madhu Pandit dasa is that Jasomatinandana Prabhu and Mahaman Prabhu are in the control of fake gurus and Madhu Pandit dasa is in the control of Srila Prabhupada.

4. “Does anybody really believe that Madhu Pandit dasa is not in complete control over there?”

Madhu Pandit dasa is the president of the temple, as a fool on the road about the duties of a president he’ll tell you. Therefore Madhu Pandit dasa is just the president of the temple and complete control on the temple is on the hands of all the GBC members of ISKCON Bangalore.

5. “The temple bank accounts are his accounts, if he wants something who will object? He is not accountable to anyone.”

The people inside ISKCON genuinely elected Madhu Pandit dasa to be the president of the temple. So it’s constitutional and everything is under the eye of every iskcon Bangalore devotee and he has provided transparency to it by publishing every detail about the account in the website.

Your Challenge to Madhu Pandit dasa is fine and I’m guarantee for it. but i want to challenge you one thing, that is, will the ISKCON GBC accept Srila Prabhupada as the only guru of ISKCON Worldwide? If yes, then Madhu Pandit dasa will withdraw all his cases. That’s my challenge to you.

Infamy of ISKCON

Who is responsible for all infamy that is being brought to the name of ISKCON Bangalore and the ISKCON Society at large? A movement once revered for the purity and saintliness of its followers, a movement that moved the philosophers, theologists and spiritualists by its philosophical brilliance, a movement that shook governments by its global conquest with the strength of holy name... this movement called ISKCON, was brought to shambles and disgrace when its own carriers back stabbed their spiritual master HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada by usurping his position and exploiting the men and property of the mission.

Like a phoenix, ISKCON rose up again from its own ashes on the Hare Krishna Hill and shone like a brilliant sun spreading the message of Lord Krishna and reestablishing the glory of the name ‘ISKCON’. However, this sun is again being tried to be eclipsed by some unscrupulous, property-greedy men in the garb of devotees, whose bellies are not filled despite gulping the worldwide empire that Srila Prabhupada gave them to preserve and carry forward. By their mischievous deeds, the glorious name of Iskcon has become a domestic laughing stock. One of the leading regional dailies has depicted this fight (newspaper cutting above) by showing the leaders of both the parties engaged in physical duel and watchers commenting sarcastically, “who took the Iskcon and who gave the Iskcon” which also sounds in the local language as “who took the beating and who gave the beating.” Such humiliation is devouring both the camps, Mumbai as well as Bangalore. By their cheap media stunts, not only Iskcon Bangalore is being defamed but also facing its brunt.

The envy of the self-appointed gurus is the real cause for this fighting sprawling over the streets. They are the ones who opened this internal matter before the world. Disobeying Srila Prabhupada’s instruction namely “Do not throw dirty linen in public.” The disciples of Jaya Pataka Swami falsely accused Madhu Pandit Dasa of being a fraud and sent a cooked up story to the donors of Iskcon Bangalore whose contact info they had stolen from the temple. To counter this false propaganda, Iskcon Bangalore had to clarify to all the donors about the real situation and expose the shameful truth about these bogus gurus. The misguided donors who are also well-wishers of Iskcon Bangalore temple and of the Iskcon Society as well had to be told about the fall down of these gurus and the unmentionable activities they had done. The major share of reputation that ‘Iskcon’ name enjoys in India comes due to the hard work of Iskcon Bangalore. Whatever glory Iskcon has in this country is just a reflection of real glory that Iskcon Bangalore has earned by keeping Srila Prabhupada in the center and trying its best to sincerely follow him. By throwing mud at Iskcon Bangalore, all reflections will become muddy. A practical example is this newspaper clipping attached to this article. Today Iskcon is suffering a national disgrace… who is answerable for this???

The self-appointed gurus have been eyeing on ISKCON Bangalore for grabbing the ‘juicy property’ and swallowing it. Nevertheless, by the divine arrangement it is not coming into their hands. Frustrated by repeated smacking on their hands by the law of the nation, they have resorted to cheap, immoral and abominable means of misusing media to defame Madhu Pandit Dasa and his associates. They are not interested in coming to a peaceful, gentlemanly truce by agreeing to accept Srila Prabhupada as the only Diksha Guru of ISKCON, in return for which they can take over the temple on the Hare Krishna Hill. Had they been only property greedy then they would have agreed to this and happily accepted the property on HK Hill. But Alas! They are doubly vicious: they are not only property-greedy but also envious of Srila Prabhupada’s rightful position of being Diksha Guru in ISKCON. This is core point of the entire battle. They wish to destroy the very existence of Srila Prabhupada and establish their own kingdom, which is morally, religiously and spiritually incorrect and unacceptable. Due to opposition from Madhu Pandit Dasa, they desperately want to throw him off from his position. Being unable to do so legally or illegally, their frustration is increasing day by day. Understanding very well that they cannot cause any harm to the office bearers on HK Hill, they have taken the stance of harming their reputation. Thus, they are unhesitant in degrading down to any extent… not even mindful of what attire they adore. They are so much blinded by their greed that they have no cognition of the disrepute coming to ISKCON’s name. It is the same name that they are also bearing for their organization. It is very well said that when you throw mud at the other then your hands also get dirty, thus, at the end both the men are dirty.

Until spring season comes, one cannot distinguish between a crow and a cuckoo… similarly even though externally dressed as a sadhu, the moment media comes into picture… the truth of Varada Krishna Dasa and Doyaram Dasa comes out. The suppressed frustration of not being able to execute their sinister plans against Madhu Pandit Dasa, bursts in the form of false allegations, foul language, indecency, sarcasm, self-glorification, etc. before the media. They have used media to propagate false news, and create confusion among the masses. They have used media to disturb the devotees and the public at large. They have used media to propagate their feigned innocence while visiting the ISKCON temple on the HK Hill. They have exploited media to somehow show Madhu Pandit Dasa down in the public eye. In spite of there being a legal way to get their things done, why do they resort to criminal activities by misinforming media and corrupting the minds of the general masses against the sincere followers of Srila Prabhupada? Where is the character that is depicted through their attire? Where is the courage to fight and have they ever answered a single question straightforward in any of the television interviews? These are all evidences of their incompetence and hardcore envy towards Madhu Pandit Dasa and his associates.

It further reminds me of a context in Bhagavad-Gita where Sanjaya says to Dhritarashtra, “acharyam upasangamya raja vacanam abravit” meaning “’King Duryodhana’ went to his teacher and began to speak the following words.” Srila Prabhupada explains that the word ‘raja’ or king is significant while addressing Duryodhana as it denotes a solace (even though false) given by Sanjaya to Dhritarashtra so that the latter at least thinks of his son Duryodhana as a king. Even though Dhritarashtra knew within the heart that due to Krishna’s presence there was no chance of victory for his sons. A similar solacing is happening in the Mumbai camp also where some of them call themselves President, Vice-president, and not to forget ‘the Guru’ of ISKCON Bangalore. Even though they are playing only with the papers, their fantasies seem to be boundless. In spite of innumerable attempts, they are still there on the streets with their nasty media gimmicks whereas Madhu Pandit Dasa and team are on the HK Hill, trying their best to serve Their Lordships sincerely. At least now, they should realize that ISKCON Bangalore belongs only to Srila Prabhupada and the only way to approach it is by taking its shelter and not by forming a supervisory committee.

Legal opinion by Justice Jagannatha Shetty and Advocate Dhananjay in regard to the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court

With concern we note the deliberate misinformation campaign begun by ISKCON Mumbai over the proper scope of the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 06/June/2011 in the Special Leave Petition No.15814 of 2011 preferred by ISKCON-Bangalore against the order and judgment dated 23/May/2011 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka in Regular First Appeal (RFA No.421/2009).

ISKCON-Bangalore had sought the legal opinion of Justice K Jagannatha Shetty, Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka and Mr K V Dhananjay, Advocate, Supreme Court, in this regard.

Unconstitutional Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen

On May 25th, barely 2 days after the High Court verdict which went against ISKCON Bangalore, ISKCON Bureau sent a resolution to ISKCON Bangalore. The resolution reads as follows in the beginning, with pertinent observations.

“In the light of the explanation provided at the end of this proposal it is resolved that

1. “Bureau, in pursuance of the power vested in it by Section VII. I of the “Rules and Regulations” of ISKCON Reg. in Mumbai in 1971 (F-2179), hereby constitutes a supervisory committee (hereinafter referred to as the said Supervisory Committee) consisting of Sri Dayaram Dasa aka Dinesh Vinayak Kocharekar (the Chairman), Sri Varadakrishna Dasa, Srimati Radhapriya Devi Dasi aka Srimati S P Rajeshwari, Sri Muralishyam Dasa aka Muthuramalingam & Sri Rajendra Kamatgoudar, in respect of Bangalore Temple / branch situated at Hare Krishna Hill, Chord Road, Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore with the following responsibilities:

Sri Dinesh Vinayak Kocharekar, Temple President, Kolkata, seen roaming in the corridors of the Supreme Court of India. Notice the lack of shikha & growth of hair.

• To check the system & standard of Deity worship followed by the Bangalore branch…” 

Observation 1:

The supervisory committee is chaired by Sri Dayaram Dasa aka Dinesh Vinayak Kocharekar. One would have expected more from the Bureau. This man is supposed to be the Temple President of Kolkata temple. There are certain minimum standards one would expect from a temple president. Sri Dinesh Vinayak Kocharekar, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to measure upto the standards. In fact, he doesn’t even sport a sikha! (please see snaps below). How the Bureau is encouraging this for a Temple President, is surprising. And to make a man who doesn’t even follow the basic directions of Srila Prabhupada, Chairman of a Supervisory Committee to look into matters of Deity Worship, is even more astonishing.

A few quotes from Srila Prabhupada on the importance of sikha:

I beg to inform you that every Krishna conscious person must be clean shaved, must have Tilakas on the forehead and other eleven places and must have the Sikha on the top of the head besides beads on the neck as usual. Letter to Brahmananda, 11 Oct, 1967

…we must have always our tilak and sikha and there is no compromise for this purpose. Letter to Brahmananda, 6 Oct, 1968 Vaisnava must have sikha. Letter to Govinda, 20 Nov 1971

Regarding what is a Vaisnava, Vaisnava means that when others see him, they will also chant Hare Krsna. So why not give them the chance of seeing by wearing the beads, tilaka, and sikha? You are not paramahamsa that you can do whatever you like. So my advice to you is that you remain ideal Vaisnava internally and externally, and everyone will respect you. Sri Dinesh Vinayak Kocharekar is also undeniably involved in various personal businesses. Below is a snap of one of the personal businesses he is engaged in –

building apartments and selling them in Sridham Mayapur. So the Bureau has virtually stuck its foot in its mouth – putting a man with personal businesses worth Crores of Rupees to supervise a Temple President who has declared in a court of law that his personal assets are almost nil! And a Temple President, whose following of spiritual standards and sadhana is impeccable to date – which even many of the self appointed gurus will find difficult to match, let alone Sri Dinesh Kocharekar aka Dayaram Das.

Where this man got so much money to start such flourishing businesses, will definitely be interesting to know, considering that Sri Dinesh Kocharekar has not inherited this as a family business! (Grapevine has it that this man, being unaccountable for all the money spent by the GBC to create all the legal tangles in Bangalore, has siphoned off huge sums of money from this. He is said to have pumped all the ill gotten wealth he has amassed thus into his family businesses).

Surely, the Bureau was expected to do much better than this! Obviously, from this we can see, that the Bureau’s idea in putting Sri Dinesh Kocharekar as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee is not based on any spiritual standard or achievement of this gentleman but simply on other unconstitutional grounds. As they say, if the head is rotten, then the whole body obviously must be rotten. If the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee (of businessmen) is of such low standards, then we can only imagine the standard of the rest of the members of the committee!

Observation 2:

The members of the Supervisory Committee (of businessmen) include Sri Varadakrishna Dasa and Srimati Radhapriya Devi Dasi aka Srimati S P Rajeshwari. It is interesting to note that these 2 persons are married husband and wife. This man Sri Varadakrishna Das has been hopping mad all over the media that the ISKCON Bangalore Society is controlled by Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa’s family – though, as is usual with all his allegations, this is a totally baseless and untruthful allegation. For the record, ISKCON Bangalore is governed by a Governing Body consisting of 10 members, who are from different parts of India and are not even remotely related to any other of the members, save and except two of the members – Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa and Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa.

However, the interesting point is that the Bureau has appointed a Supervisory Committee of family members, purportedly since the Bangalore Society is governed by family members! What an irony! Or is it diplomacy? Or is it plain blind sightedness? Choose whichever you would like! So, it turns out that this Supervisory Committee is one of family members and businessmen.

Observation 3:

The Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen has been entrusted with a number of “responsibilities” by the Bureau. Considering the constant harping in the media by Sri Dinesh Kocharekar aka Dayaram Das and Sri Varadakrishna Das that there has been large scale misappropriation of funds and fraud at ISKCON Bangalore, one would expect that that is what the Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen would primarily be burdened with. But the actual reason for all this fight and legal battle is given away by the fact that the first responsibility of the Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen is to “check the system & standard of Deity worship followed by the Bangalore branch”.

This is a dead give away!

This shows what is top on their minds – CHANGE THE SYSTEM OF GURU WORSHIP! Remove Srila Prabhupada from the center of this magnificent temple and replace him with their self appointed gurus! Their unbearable envy towards Srila Prabhupada occupying the center of this crest jewel of a temple has resulted in the Bureau blurting out their intentions. Otherwise, when there are more pressing matters (so called), why take up Deity Worship first, of all things, when Deity Worship was never questioned all along anywhere by the Bureau or Sri Dinesh Kocharekar or Sri Varadakrishna Das in any of their media rantings.

So that shows where the rot is – it is right in the head, at the Bureau and the GBC level. THEY ARE ENVIOUS OF SRILA PRABHUPADA’S BEING THE CYNOSURE OF THE OPULENT BANGALORE TEMPLE. That rot has spread naturally to the Chairman of this Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen, who doesn’t even sport a sikha and runs his personal businesses worth millions.

It is sad that the Bureau has appointed a Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen to supervise devotees! On 3 counts at least, this Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen is unconstitutional, uncalled for and has been made with the sole hidden agenda of replacing Srila Prabhupada at the center of the temple. If anyone still can’t see it, he must really be super blind.

It is sad that the Bureau has appointed a Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen to supervise devotees! On 3 counts at least, this Supervisory Committee of family members and businessmen is unconstitutional, uncalled for and has been made with the sole hidden agenda of replacing Srila Prabhupada at the center of the temple.
