Highlights from the Order released by Honourable Supreme Court


We would like to bring to your kind notice that we have enclosed a copy of the Honourable Supreme Court Order for SLP No.15814/2011 and wish to highlight the following points:
  1. We wish to quote the following from the order, where the order of the Supreme Court recognizes the existence of two societies:
It is unfortunate but true that the two societies stated to be societies for the purposes of Krishna Consciousness…”
  1. From the order it is very clear that ISKCON-Bangalore Society should manage the day-to-day affairs.
In the meanwhile, the parties shall maintain status quo, as of today. However, the Bangalore Society with its present office bearers shall continue day-to-day management of the Society…”
  1. The court also stressed that both parties should explore the possibilities of amicably resolving the issues.
